(1) Programming language: Programming language formal language degined to communicate instuction to a maichine ,  particularly a computer. A programming language is a formal that specifes a set of instuctions to a machine, particularly a computer A programming language is a formal that specifiesa set of instruction that can be used to produce various kinds of output programmming languages generlly consist of instructions for a computer ,Proramming languages can be used  to create a computer programs implement specific alogrithms.

The earliest known programmable machine preceded the invention of the digital computer and is the automatic flute player described in the 9th century by the brothers Musa in Baghdad, "during the Islamic Golden Age". From the early 1800s, "programs" were used to direct the behavior of machines such as Jacquard looms and player pianos.

(2) Command language : a language uscd to conrrol the tasks of the computer itself, such as starting other programs : A command language is a language for job control in computing. It is a domain-specific and interpreted language; common ex. amples ofa command language are shelI or batch  programming languages.

These larguages can be used directly at the command line, but can also automate tasks that would normally be performed manually at the command line. They share this domain-lightweight automation-with scripting languages. though a command language usually has stronger coupling to. the underlying operating system. Command languages of- ten have either very simple grammars or syntaxes very close to natural language. to shalJow the learning curve, as with many other domain.specific language.

(3) Machine language : Machine language or machine code. a set of instructions     executed directly by a computer's central processing unit : Machine code or machine language is a set of instructions  executed directly by a computer's central processing unit '(CPU). Eachinstruction performs a very specific task, such as aload, a jump, or an ALU operation on a unit of data in a     CPU register or memory

(4) Markup language : Markuplanguage, a grammar for annotating a document in  a way that is syntacucally distinguishable from the text, such  HTML. A markup language is a system for annotating a document in a way that is syntactically distinguishable from the  text.    

  In digital media this "blue pencil instruction text': was  replaced by rags. that is, mstructions are expressed dircctly   by tags or "in struction text encapsulated by tags." Examples  include typesetting instructions such as those found in troff,  TeX and LaTeX, or structural markers such as XML tags.  Markup instructs the software that displays the text to carry   out appropriate actions, but is omitted from the version of the text that users see.

(5) Style sheet language: A computer language that expresses the presentation of structured documents, such as CSS : A style sheet language, or style language, is a computer language that expresses the presentation of structured documents.
